I welcome you to my story through poetry. My journey is not an easy one but I survived and that is a gift. I hope this will leave you with not only the painful truth of what abuse causes, but a message of hope in it's wake. I wrote a lot of poetry as a child, but it became so sad, it died in me for years. I began to blog not long ago and the flame was lit once again. Too my surprise, my style had changed and the words began to flow. I hope in some small way this will touch you or make a difference in your life. Remember, when life is dark there is always hope.
