But what happens when life takes you down a path that you never wanted or planned for. In Beautiful Problems you are given a bird's eye view of real life problems. Some that we talk about everyday and others that are just as important or relevant but are never brought to life.   A compilation of short stories, that take you through the life experiences of several fictional characters. Each one has their own voice, as well as their own struggle. With every experience different from the other.

About the Author: Stanley Fritz

stanley fritzBorn to Haitian immigrant parents in East New York, Brooklyn, Stanley is the elder of two children. An avid reader since the age of six, Stanley has basically been writing stories since he could tie his shoes. He published his first book “Beautiful Problems,” a collection of short stories that blur the line between fiction and reality, in February 2012.As a child, Stanley’s neighborhood was filled with loud mothers yelling for their children, bodega music and the sweet smells of Caribbean food. He found the energy and cultural diversity of East New York inspiring and his short stories quickly became popular with his grade school teachers. That creative passion and drive propelled Stanley to enroll at SUNY College at Old Westbury to pursue a degree in English literature. Stanley quickly built a positive and productive reputation on his college campus as a leader. He held a number of leadership positions including a job as resident assistant and he was an active member of Chi Sigma Theta Fraternity Inc. Stanley graduated in 2010 and quickly began working to achieve his two lifelong goals; political activism and writing. He currenly works for NYPIRG, an organization that advocates for students and serves the public good, in addition to co-hosting, co-producing, and engineering Let Your Voice Be Heard!. Oh yeah, and he wrote a book too. There’s a reason why they call him “Stan the Man”…this guy is motivated, smart, and oh yeah, ladies…he has a voice like hot melted butter.
